It's what I dread about being a mom with a military dad. We're so thankful that we got a new assignment that should keep him home more than he was (he's been gone 300+ days a year for the last few years), but there's also a good possibility of a year-long deployment in the next couple of years. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that there are so many other amazing women out there doing exactly what I'm about to start, and knowing that our families are stronger for it.
